Placement Guide
Choose where you would like your embroidery to be placed on your garment.
The final position may be adjusted slightly depending on the size and shape of your logo, as each design is different. Our aim is to keep the embroidery looking balanced and proportionate on the garment.
Left Chest / Right Chest
-
Embroidery is placed on the left or right side of the chest.
-
This is a compact, professional placement suitable for logos, business names or branding.
-
Recommended embroidery width: 60–100 mm.
-
The logo is positioned approximately:
-
160–180 mm down from the collar and shoulder area, or
-
80–90 mm down from the lower point of a crew neck.
-
-
If the garment has a breast pocket:
-
The embroidery is positioned approximately 20 mm above the top edge of the pocket.
-
The logo is centred relative to the pocket.
-
Centre Chest
-
Embroidery is placed centrally across the front of the garment.
-
This provides a more prominent front-facing placement than left or right chest.
-
Recommended embroidery width: 100–150 mm.
-
The logo is positioned approximately:
-
190–210 mm down from the collar and shoulder area, or
-
100 mm down from the lower point of a crew neck.
-
Back
Upper Back / Back Yoke
-
Embroidery is placed high on the back, directly below the collar.
-
Recommended width: 80–120 mm.
-
The top of the logo is positioned approximately 50 mm below the collar.
-
The logo is centred across the garment.
-
This creates a smaller, higher-positioned back logo.
Centre Back
-
Embroidery is placed centrally across the main back area.
-
Recommended width: 150–240 mm.
-
The top of the logo is positioned approximately 160–170 mm down from the collar and shoulder area.
-
For hoodies, the position is approximately 180–190 mm down.
-
The logo is centred horizontally on the garment.
-
This provides a larger and more prominent back placement.
Lower Back
-
Embroidery is placed toward the lower section of the back.
-
Recommended width: 150–360 mm.
-
The logo should be positioned at least 20 mm above the bottom edge of the garment.
-
This allows for a wider and more prominent embroidery design.

-
Embroidery is placed on the left sleeve.
-
Maximum recommended size: 70 mm diameter.
